Moses Ajami is simply the top superbikes driver in Cyprus as well as the defending champion. As an athlete, he participates in the Panhellenic and Balkan races in Serres, where the goal is also for 2024 with a YAMAHA R6 2022 FULL SUPER STOCK motorcycle.

What got Moses involved in powersport racing was his love for motorcycles, the sense of speed and the adrenaline involved. His first motorcycle was a small four-wheeler, which his father bought him when he was 10 years old. At the age of ten, a love-affair with motorcycles began. In 2017 he commenced track training and in 2021-2022 he participated in races in Serres Circuit in Northern Greece, where he managed to emerge as a champion.

For Moses, a race commences two days before its start. When this day is approaches, a feeling of anxiety, impatience and unease begins at the same time, however these last until the moment he is on the starting line. Once the strings are lowered and the adrenaline racing begins, nothing else matters except from beating his record. It is exactly this feeling of the moment that he loves the most about racing.

An unforgettable race for the champ, took place in 2022, when he had started in first place but due to a fall in the fourth turn, he was injured and finished last in the first part of the race. However, in the second part of the race and after starting in last place, he eventually managed to take first place, in spite of suffering a fall/injury before.

Ajami takes it extremely seriously when it comes to the maintenance of his racing equipment. Taking care of his bike’s engine means the world to him. He knows well that the engine oil needs to be in position to withstand the high heat, elevated temperatures, elevated speeds and in general the pressure and loads put on the engine during the race and training.
